The Economic History of Malaya Project reaches a key milestone with the publication today of its 50th article

With today’s publication of Professor Gregg Huff’s article on ‘The Post-1950 Emergence of Kuala Lumpur as a Great Southeast Asian City’, HRH Sultan Nazrin Shah’s EHM website reached a new landmark. It is the 50th article to be published since the website was launched in September 2016, slightly over seven and half years ago. The 50 articles are an invaluable resource of knowledge and historical reference.

This series of succinct and peer reviewed articles, written by eminent international and national scholars, historians, and economists cover a wide range of historical and contemporary topics on the economic and social development of Malaya/Malaysia, Malaysian states, and smaller geographical areas, including:
