Sultan Nazrin Shah’s latest publication ‘
Globalization: Perak’s Rise, Relative Decline, and Regeneration’ was successfully launched on 6 July 2024 at The St Regis Kuala Lumpur. The event was attended by some 350 invited guests, including members of Perak’s royal family, senior federal and state government officials, the diplomatic corps, national and international agencies, academia, business, Oxford University Press, and the media.

Peter Timmer, the Thomas D. Cabot Emeritus Professor of Development Studies at Harvard University, and Professor Tim Harper, the Head of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Director of the Centre for History and Economics at the University of Cambridge.
